Bush's attacks on womens rights

category national | miscellaneous | news report author Saturday February 08, 2003 15:37author by pro choice

are the greatest threat to those rights in more than 30 years

Feminists in Amerika have acheived a right to legal abortion in 1973 ( Roe van Wade) but George Bush aims at eliminating access to reproductive health care. Thats why pro choice organisations are very worried about what a second term Bush would mean to all thats been won since 1916.

Since he's in power he has worked on destroying womens rights by:
* reducing access to family planning
* building the platform to outlaw abortion.
* redifining the legal status of the foetus
* packing the courts to overturn Roe v. Wade. ( nominating 9 anti choice jurists for the court of appeal.
*replacing science with right wing ideology
* censoring free speach.

He openly supports anti choice demo's where terrorist organisations like " the army of god" rule. those bastards kill doctors who work in reproductive helth care clinics and bomb clinics and send anthrax letters to pro choice organisations and clinics.
You see? with friends like Bush who needs bloody enemies?

Regarding Amerikas position in the world we have to look upon Bush's anti equality agenda as a threat to all women in the world.
We can not loose the bit of ground that feminists have won for us in the world.
We have to work on expanding those rights, till we all have them, everywhere.

Therefore we best oppose anti choice ideologues like Bush.
We must support pro choice Amerika to fight forward to write into law the fundamental principle that women have the right to make our own childbearing decisions.
